Deputy Head of the Office of the President Ihor Brusylо held an online meeting with the heads of Ukraine’s diplomatic missions in the G7 countries: Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Japan, Germany, and Italy, as well as with Ukraine’s representative to the European Union.
Deputy Foreign Minister Mariana Betsa also took part in the meeting.
The main topic of discussion was preparations for the President of Ukraine’s participation in the G7 Summit, which will take place on June 15–17 in Canada.
Ihor Brusylо outlined Ukraine’s position on its participation in the Summit, as well as strategic approaches to engagement with G7 member states.
The meeting also addressed an action plan for the effective promotion of Ukraine's interests in the G7 and the EU countries.
“The G7 Summit is an important platform for presenting Ukraine's interests at the highest level. Our task is to ensure that diplomatic efforts in each member state are as effective as possible in delivering concrete results,” emphasized the Deputy Head of the Office of the President.
