The Office of the President Hosts a Meeting with the U.S. Delegation

Deputy Heads of the Office of the President, Ihor Brusylo and Pavlo Palisa, held a meeting with the U.S. delegation. The delegation was led by Tyler Brace, Senior Professional Staff Member at the U.S. Senate Committee on Foreign Relations and Advisor to Senator Jim Risch.

Deputy Minister for Strategic Industries Anna Gvozdiar also took part in the meeting.

The Ukrainian side emphasized that U.S. military and financial assistance has been a key factor in Ukraine’s ability to resist Russian aggression and that it is crucial for this support to continue.

The American delegation noted that Ukraine consistently demonstrates its readiness for an unconditional ceasefire and the achievement of a just peace.

"Ukraine has publicly declared its readiness for an unconditional ceasefire of any duration; however, Russia remains the main obstacle to this process," Ihor Brusylo noted.

The parties also discussed legislative initiatives currently being drafted by senators that may help bring about a dignified and lasting peace.

Particular attention during the meeting was given to the Agreement on the Establishment of the U.S.-Ukraine Reconstruction Investment Fund. Both sides noted that it has laid a strong foundation for expanding cooperation between the United States and Ukraine. In particular, the discussion focused on the further development of cooperation in various fields, especially in strengthening military capabilities and trade.
