Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Ihor Zhovkva held a meeting with Secretary General of the International Chamber of Commerce John Denton.
Ihor Zhovkva emphasized the vital role of the International Chamber of Commerce in engaging international businesses in Ukraine’s reconstruction.
“We value our cooperation with the International Chamber of Commerce. Despite the challenges of war, through joint efforts of the government, the private sector, and with support from international partners, Ukraine is already able to implement recovery projects for facilities damaged by Russian strikes,” he said.
The Deputy Head of the Office of the President noted that Ukraine looks forward to deepening its partnership with the International Chamber of Commerce, particularly with a view to further involving international businesses in the recovery of affected regions and the restoration of the economy after the war.
One of the main topics of the meeting was preparations for the Ukraine Recovery Conference, which will be held on 10–11 July in Rome.
The parties also discussed Ukraine’s European integration and the involvement of Ukrainian businesses in the EU economic space.
