Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Irina Mudra held a meeting with representatives of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission to discuss the continuation of judicial reform. The discussion focused on key issues relevant to the eighth review of the program under the Extended Fund Facility (EFF) for Ukraine.
The main focus of the discussion was the establishment of higher specialized administrative courts.
Irina Mudra informed that President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has submitted a draft law to Parliament on the creation of the Specialized District Administrative Court and the Specialized Administrative Appeals Court.
The meeting also covered the competitive procedures for appointing judges to the High Anti-Corruption Court.
IMF representatives noted that despite the full-scale Russian aggression, the reform implementation in Ukraine continues.
Irina Mudra expressed gratitude for the contributions of international experts in advisory bodies and emphasized the importance of continued efforts to increase transparency and openness.
The parties agreed to continue discussions on reforms to ensure their timely and effective implementation.
