President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a phone call with Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Keir Starmer.
The Prime Minister expressed his condolences to the Ukrainian people over last night’s Russian attack. The President thanked him for the support. Last night, Russia launched another attack – at a time when Ukraine, together with the United States of America, Europe, and many others around the world, are working virtually around the clock to stop the bloodshed.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Keir Starmer discussed the meetings in Geneva in detail. The leaders see prospects that can make the path to peace real – ensuring that peace is both dignified and sustainable. There are solid results, and much work still lies ahead.
Particular attention was given to today’s meeting of the Coalition of the Willing. The President and the Prime Minister coordinated their positions and the priority issues for discussion, as well as some of the next steps and upcoming contacts.
