President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with students of the School of Superheroes who are undergoing treatment at one of the children’s medical facilities in the Kyiv region.
The children shared their interests, aspirations, and dreams. The young patients also spoke about the drawings they create for Ukrainian warriors and send to the frontlines. The President thanked them for their heartfelt support of the defenders.
“We all want to bring peace closer for Ukraine and Ukrainians. We want the war to end. I think everyone wants that. This is the President’s most important task,” said Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
During the meeting, they spoke at length about studying at the School of Superheroes and the subjects the children enjoy most.
The school was established under the patronage of the First Lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska, in May 2023. Since then, more than 1,900 children have become its students.
The classrooms include a play area, a relaxation corner, and a multimedia setup with tablets for each child.
Thanks to the school, children undergoing long-term treatment can continue their education. Medical, rehabilitative, and palliative care is provided here to children from the Kyiv region, as well as to those whose families were forced to flee their homes due to Russian aggression.
The Head of State also inspected the X-ray, ultrasound, and CT diagnostic rooms, as well as the sensory room and the physical therapy hall, where rehabilitation sessions are conducted.
