President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a phone call with Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau.
The Head of State thanked his Canadian counterpart for his recent visit to Kyiv.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy briefed Justin Trudeau on the current situation on the battlefield. He also shared Ukrainian assessments of the attempted coup in Russia and the impact of this situation on the course of hostilities.
The President emphasized the threatening situation created by the occupation troops at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant. The insufficient reaction of the world to the blowing up of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant dam and the attempt to blow up the dam at the Kryvyi Rih reservoir allows the occupiers to prepare a terrorist attack with radiation leakage at the ZNPP, the Head of State said.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy is convinced that Ukraine's partners must demonstrate a principled response to these challenges, including at the NATO Summit in Vilnius.
