In Strasbourg, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe Theodoros Rousopoulos.
The Head of State noted that PACE was the first international body to support Ukraine’s idea to establish a Special Tribunal for the crime of aggression against Ukraine. Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed how important it is that the Tribunal will prosecute those responsible for the crime of aggression against Ukraine specifically in The Hague.
The Ukrainian President also expressed gratitude for the fact that every PACE session pays special attention to Russia’s war against Ukraine, in particular to children affected by Russian aggression, and for the important resolutions adopted by the Assembly.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy invited Theodoros Rousopoulos to visit Ukraine.
