In Yerevan, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert Fico.
The Head of State stressed that Ukraine is open to constructive dialogue with Slovakia and is interested in developing strong relations between the two countries.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Robert Fico discussed cooperation across various areas and the holding of a meeting of both countries’ governments in the format of an intergovernmental commission in the near future.
Particular attention was paid to Ukraine’s membership in the European Union. Robert Fico assured that Slovakia supports Ukraine’s accession to the EU and is ready to provide assistance.
The leaders also spoke about exchanging visits to Kyiv and Bratislava and agreed that their teams will work out the schedule.
