President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Prime Minister of Sweden Ulf Kristersson to discuss key issues and coordinate positions.
A detailed and special focus of the discussion was on the use of frozen Russian assets for the defense and reconstruction of Ukraine. The leaders discussed the instruments prepared and ways to implement them as quickly as possible.
The meeting also touched upon the continued support for Ukraine and the expansion of defense cooperation. The partnership between Ukraine and Sweden holds great potential, and it is important to realize it fully.
In addition, the leaders spoke about the further development of the PURL initiative. The Head of State highlighted Sweden’s contribution to the initiative in the amount of $275 million.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Ulf Kristersson coordinated further contacts with partners and joint diplomatic efforts.
