President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with Secretary-General of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Mathias Cormann and thanked him for the unwavering support of Ukraine.
One of the key topics of discussion was the OECD’s role in developing and implementing Ukraine’s recovery plan, in particular, specific reconstruction projects.
“We are confident that the war will end and that we will rebuild Ukraine together with all strong companies and countries. We are very pleased to welcome you and grateful for your visit,” the Head of State emphasized.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy also expressed gratitude for the preparation and presentation of the OECD Economic Survey of Ukraine and the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Review of Ukraine.
“We value Ukraine’s Economic Survey and Anti-Corruption Review presented today. They serve as a roadmap for the reforms needed and send a positive signal to international investors,” the President said.
The Secretary-General noted Ukraine’s substantial progress in reforms, particularly in anti-corruption efforts, which is a key prerequisite for the country’s integration into the OECD. The Organisation is ready to continue providing the necessary technical assistance on this path.
In addition, the parties discussed strengthening Ukraine’s agricultural sector by attracting investment.
