President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with employees of an enterprise in the Kyiv region that makes Ukrainian weapons “smart” by producing electronics for them.
Specifically, this facility rapidly mastered the production of control units and other components for drones, missiles, and secure communication devices.
“Thank you for making our weapons smart and Ukraine stronger. This greatly enhances our protection and defense capabilities,” said the President.
A company representative expressed gratitude for state support, which enables scaling up production, and demonstrated the electronics soldering line and quality testing laboratories.
According to him, the company employs several hundred workers. Over 80% of its production is focused on defense needs.
Presidential Advisor on Strategic Issues Oleksandr Kamyshin and Deputy Defense Minister Anna Gvozdiar briefed the Head of State that an increasing number of weapons and equipment are now being assembled with Ukrainian components. To reduce dependence on imports and expand local production, the Components Library project was created. This is a secure digital platform where companies producing drones, in particular, can easily find component manufacturers and establish partnerships.
