The President of Ukraine emphasized that it is important not to lose the momentum for advancing peace, given that the war in the Middle East is coming to an end. The war in Europe can also be brought to an end, and for this, the leadership of the United States and other partners is crucial.

According to the Head of State, it is important that U.S. President Donald Trump has succeeded in implementing the necessary steps to secure the release of hostages and end the war in Gaza. Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Alexander Stubb share a common vision: the right actions by the United States can also help bring an end to Russia’s war against Ukraine.

The parties also discussed the recent Russian strikes on Ukraine’s energy sector and the need to strengthen air defense. The President thanked Alexander Stubb for his readiness to assist.

The President of Ukraine stressed that Russia must be deprived of the means to continue its war and terror, which could become the most reliable foundation for peace in the region.
