President Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented state awards to the First Ladies of Finland and Estonia and the First Gentleman of Denmark, who came to Ukraine to participate in the Fifth Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen. Ukraine’s First Lady Olena Zelenska also took part in the ceremony.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with the U.S. Special Presidential Envoy for Ukraine, General Keith Kellogg, who arrived in Kyiv on a visit.

The Head of State also emphasized that with this attack, Russia sought to test both the political reaction of the North Atlantic Alliance and its physical ability to repel such strikes.

The Fifth Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen, initiated by the First Lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska, featured a Gala Tribute to Teachers in Kyiv. The event celebrated educators from around the world who have contributed to the development of education globally.

In Kyiv, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with President of Finland Alexander Stubb in a one-on-one format, as well as in an expanded format.

Finland provides Ukraine with tangible defense, humanitarian, and political support. Together with other European countries, Finland is also an active participant in the Coalition of the Willing and will be one of the guarantors of security for Ukraine, for the eastern flank, and for all of Europe once this war ends.

The Fifth Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen “Education Shaping the World,” initiated by First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska, has begun in Kyiv.
