In Madrid, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy took part in a Spanish-Ukrainian technology meeting dedicated to expanding defense cooperation. The meeting was held at the facilities of the Indra Group with the participation of Spain’s Minister of Defense Margarita Robles.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with Spanish parliamentarians – Speaker of the Congress of Deputies Francina Armengol and President of the Senate Pedro Rollán.

At the Embassy of Ukraine in France, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with representatives of the Kernic Solidarités association and the National Committee for fishery and aquaculture. They provide Ukrainian cities with anti-drone nets.

The strategic agreement between Ukraine and France regarding Rafale F4 aircraft, radars, SAMP/T air defense systems, missiles, and guided bombs will remain in effect for 10 years starting next year. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this during a joint press conference with President of France Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace in Paris.

Ukraine is not alone now, not on its own in its defense, and that is precisely why we can count on bringing this war to an end – because we have friends, and France is our friend.

At the air base in the French city of Vélizy-Villacoublay, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and President of France Emmanuel Macron signed a Declaration of Intent on Cooperation in the Acquisition of Defense Equipment for Ukraine.

The discussion of the paths toward achieving a real peace for Ukraine was one of the key topics of the meeting. The parties discussed the necessary pressure that China and the United States could exert on Russia to bring the war to an end.
