The Olena Zelenska Foundation has presented the results of a nationwide research titled “Future Index: Professional Expectations and Development of Adolescents in Ukraine,” which surveyed more than 10,000 teenagers aged 13–16 and their parents.

In Kyiv, the documentary “After the Rain: Putin’s Stolen Children Come Home” about children deported by Russia was presented. The event was attended by, among others, Deputy Foreign Minister Mariana Betsa, and Chief Operating Officer of Bring Kids Back UA and Advisor to the Head of the Presidential Office Dariia Zarivna.

The Head of the Presidential Office noted that the first step following negotiations with the Russian side should be the implementation of the prisoner exchange agreement in a “1,000 for 1,000” format. The second step is to determine the location for the next meeting with representatives of the Russian Federation.

Russians show no signals of a ceasefire, and they are not yet ready to end the war. Therefore, all our forms of pressure, all our work with partners to put pressure on Russia, are absolutely necessary. Pressure convinces. Pressure on the battlefield. Pressure on the economy – and that is exactly what sanctions are for. Pressure in politics.

The Head of State briefly updated his counterpart on the progress of the peace process and Ukraine’s next steps in cooperation with partners. In particular, preparations continue for the resumption of negotiations with the Russian side on ceasefire, humanitarian issues, and prisoner releases.
