In Kyiv, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with President of Poland Andrzej Duda, who arrived in Ukraine ahead of the conclusion of his presidential term.

On Constitution Day of Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, First Lady Olena Zelenska, and President of Poland Andrzej Duda honored the memory of Ukrainian defenders who gave their lives for Ukraine.

A solemn ceremony took place in Kyiv, on St. Sophia Square. In attendance were First Lady Olena Zelenska, President of Poland Andrzej Duda, who arrived in Ukraine today on a visit, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, members of the government, leadership of the President’s Office, representatives of foreign diplomatic missions, as well as Ukrainian men and women who work for the sake of our country across various fields.

Today, we are marking Constitution Day of Ukraine – the Constitution of our state, our nation. The first word of its first article is “Ukraine.” And this reflects our ultimate goal, our mission. Ukraine is – and will be – on earth. Ukrainians are – and will be – on earth.

The parties discussed the next steps in the negotiation process aimed at achieving a just and lasting peace. Andriy Yermak stressed the need to increase pressure on Russia to bring it to the table for constructive talks.

I gave several special instructions – I’m not disclosing the details yet, but the outcome must be clear: increased production in Ukraine and for Ukraine. All opportunities must be available – both for businesses and for state manufacturers. The main point is that the scale of our production and the pace of drone development must be fully aligned with the conditions of the war.

Partner countries must continue to take concrete steps to strengthen sanctions pressure on Russia so that the aggressor state continues to feel the cost of war. This was stated by the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, during the Fair Play Conference, dedicated to the introduction of additional sanctions against the Russian Federation.

The Head of State noted the need to intensify cooperation with key global manufacturers of equipment and components to strengthen control over where their products ultimately end up.

Today, we are launching an expedited synchronization process. Every necessary decision by our partners regarding sanctions against Russia and related individuals must be swiftly implemented in Ukraine. And our Ukrainian sanctions – against those who have chosen Russia and who have chosen war, against those who assist aggression – must also be confirmed in other jurisdictions.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has expanded the Council for Entrepreneurship Support to strengthen dialogue between the state and domestic business, address pressing issues, and develop a new economic strategy. This was stated by the Head of the Office of the President, Andriy Yermak, during his participation in the State and Business Forum: From Dialogue to Partnership.
