I wish you good health!
A brief update on today. First, today is the SSU “Alpha” Day. It’s one of our strongest units. I thank you, warriors! I have presented “Alpha” fighters with state awards, and there is absolutely every reason for it: the results are strong. It is the Special Operations Center “Alpha” that is currently the leader in successful engagements against enemy targets – these are clear figures. At the front, at least 20% of successful engagements against Russian forces are carried out by “Alpha.” A truly heroic unit.
These days, we’ve held detailed meetings with the diplomatic team covering most of the events scheduled up to August. There will be a lot of activity. The most important thing is for Ukraine to receive air defenses exactly as needed, just as our partners have promised. The air defense delivery schedule is a key schedule for Ukraine, and our diplomats bear personal responsibility for advancing this cooperation with our partners across every track. The team of the Government, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine must focus precisely on this. We need results. Strongly organized work is underway on production in Ukraine, and in cooperation with partners, of weapons for our long-range sanctions and also our entirely justified medium-range responses against the occupier. Every day, we can see Ukrainian precision working. I am grateful to all the forces involved – the Unmanned Systems Forces, Special Operations Forces, the Security Service of Ukraine, the Defense Intelligence, and all our units – thank you. This pressure of ours, and every other form of pressure on Russia, must continue to work and must deliver results – for peace. The majority in Russia is already taking issue with Putin because there is no end in sight to his war. And all the hardships Russians are facing today should bring them closer to the realization that their war is real, that it's not just "stones falling from the sky,” and that their war must end. Real negotiations are needed. Ukraine has put forward all its proposals in this regard.
We are also working on implementing the agreements from the recent G7 Summit. We are preparing for events taking place this week and beyond. Today, we had a detailed discussion with Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko on the tasks for the Ukraine Recovery Conference, which will begin in Gdańsk. It is important to ensure constructive relations with Poland, and I am grateful to all partners – everyone who stands with us, with Ukraine – everyone who has prepared substantive proposals for the meeting in Gdańsk. Prime Minister Svyrydenko will lead the Ukrainian delegation. I thank everyone who supports Ukraine. I am proud of all our warriors and of every man and woman who works for Ukraine, who strengthens our state, who strengthens our people.
Glory to Ukraine!
