In the framework of his participation in the 3rd European Political Community Summit in Granada, Spain, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with President of the European Council Charles Michel.

The leaders discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation in the defense sector and agreed to continue work on expanding the capabilities of the Ukrainian air defense system.

In the context of preparing the next defense package from Italy, the leaders discussed military support for Ukraine, including bolstering Ukraine's air defense to protect civilians and grain infrastructure.

The Head of State emphasized that today the protection of human rights and life in Ukraine is also the protection of human rights and life in other countries, primarily in Europe and the United States. Because if the Russian aggression in Ukraine is not stopped, it will spread throughout the world.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Chairman of the Board of the Turkish company "Onur Group" Onur Çetinçeviz and Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Ukraine Yağmur Ahmet Güldere.

It was noted that as of October 3, almost 90% of the region's inhabitants were provided with electricity (taking into account the actual availability of people). In June-August this year alone, electricity supply was restored to about 6,000 houses.

The President listened to the report by commander of "Khortytsia" operational-strategic grouping of troops Oleksandr Syrskyi on the defense of Kharkiv region and offensive actions in Bakhmut and other areas. The supply of weapons, ammunition and reserves to the troops was also addressed.

The Kupyansk-Lyman direction is one of the hottest on the frontline. The Russian occupiers are constantly trying to conduct offensive actions there.
