On the Day of Ukraine’s Marine Corps, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with the warriors and their families, presented the highest state awards, and handed over battle flags, ribbons of the honorary distinction “For Courage and Bravery,” and a ribbon bearing the honorary brigade name to unit commanders.

Russians show no signals of a ceasefire, and they are not yet ready to end the war. The Head of State briefly updated his counterpart on the progress of the peace process and Ukraine’s next steps in cooperation with partners. In particular, preparations continue for the resumption of negotiations with the Russian side on ceasefire, humanitarian issues, and prisoner releases.
