During a working visit to the Republic of Poland, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy took part in the events dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau Nazi concentration camp.

On the first day of his working visit to the Republic of Poland, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy participated in a dinner marking the 75th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau Nazi concentration camp. The event was attended by former prisoners of the camp and their families. In his speech, the Head of State emphasized that it was an honor and responsibility for him to meet with those who had survived the Holocaust and concentration camp.

The Head of State will take part in memorial events in Oświęcim to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the release of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a meeting with Speaker of the Knesset of Israel Yuli-Yoel Edelstein in Jerusalem. The parties commended the traditionally active bilateral political dialogue and expressed hope for maintaining its high dynamics after the parliamentary elections in Israel.

“Today, you can see a young, very energetic Ukraine that strives for changes, studies technologies, wants to be economically liberal. Ukraine wants big investment,” the Head of State said, addressing Israeli business representatives.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy together with his wife Olena visited the Yad Vashem Memorial Complex in Jerusalem. "This is a very important exhibition for preserving the memory of the terrible Holocaust tragedy," Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted.
