Following the meeting, the Head of State decided to withdraw his draft law "On Amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine (on Decentralization of Power)" (registration number 2598) and submit it for revision.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the Canadian Embassy in Ukraine and honored the memory of the Canadian citizens killed as a result of the crash of Ukraine International Airlines PS752 flight in Iran. The President of Ukraine made a note in the book of memory placed in the embassy near the plaque with the names of the victims of the crash.

The Head of State said that there were currently 10 Ukrainian specialists in Iran working on the identification and return of the bodies of the dead to Ukraine. "Currently, several of our citizens have been identified," Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted.

The Chancellor expressed condolences over the Ukrainian plane crash in Iran. Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked for the words of support and willingness of Germany to cooperate to ensure open and impartial investigation of the disaster.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau had a third phone conversation discussing the crash of the Ukrainian plane in Iran.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a phone call with President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Hassan Rouhani. The conversation was initiated by the Iranian side.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed gratitude to his French colleague for condolences over the plane crash in Iran. “Support from your country is very important to us in this tragic time. I am grateful for France's readiness to assist in the investigation,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

On Saturday, January 11, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy will address Ukrainian people on the situation with the UIA plane crash in Tehran.

Ukraine insists on an official apology by Iran for shooting down the UIA PS752 flight, holding an open investigation and is waiting for the return of the bodies of the deceased and the payment of compensation, as stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Ukrainian experts who had arrived in Iran to take part in the investigation of the tragedy with the PS752 Ukraine International Airlines flight have been given access to the “black boxes”, plane debris and recordings of airport dispatchers' conversations with Ukrainian pilots, as stated by Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Vadym Prystaiko.
