Local elections in Donbas are only possible under Ukrainian law, with the participation of the Central Election Commission and Ukrainian political parties, as well as after the withdrawal of Russian troops, disarmament of illegal armed groups and regaining control over the Ukrainian-Russian border, Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

“It is not acceptable. I am ready to fully support you (Paralympic athletes. - Ed.) in this issue,” he said during a press marathon, answering questions about possible changes in the Paralympic community.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy supports the privatization of objects of the State Management of Affairs. However, it is necessary to take into account the specific nature of each object in the privatization process.

The Ukrainian side has already prepared lists of detained citizens and is ready for mutual release at any time, but the Russian side wants to discuss the issue during the Normandy Format Summit, Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that he would dissolve the Verkhovna Rada if conflicts began in faction of the Servant of the People party which had formed the coalition.

On October 16, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy will make an official visit to the Republic of Latvia.

“We conduct meetings with law enforcement officials. We have an extreme point now –  November 1. We meet at these meetings weekly, every two weeks, where I ask them about  the result,” the President said during a press marathon.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy says that he will keep under control the issue of financing of the construction of the Dnipropetrovsk International Airport. The draft State budget for next year does not provide funds for the construction of the airport, therefore, this issue is a priority. The President also noted that the final version of the draft State budget would be discussed.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy supports the introduction of benefits, including housing for participants of hostilities in Donbas.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy says that the provision of military assistance to Ukraine by the United States was unlocked  after meeting with US Vice President Mike Pence in Warsaw, and the issue of assistance was not raised in a telephone conversation with President of the United States Donald Trump.
