Negotiations are currently underway at the highest level on the date of a meeting in the Normandy format. Germany and France will offer this date to Russia soon, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed his main mission as Head of State is to end the war in the Donbas.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a phone conversation with Federal Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel. Angela Merkel stressed the unwavering position of Germany in support of Ukraine to make peace in Donbas. She said that she would use future contacts with partners in the Normandy format to reach an agreement on the date of the summit.

The Head of State thanked the Netherlands for its unwavering position in support of Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, rigorous compliance with the EU sanctions against the Russian Federation, and non-recognition of the illegal annexation of Crimea by Russia.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy discussed with the representatives of the agrarian sector the issue of introduction agricultural land market in our country and land reform.

The Head of State congratulated the members of the Central Election Commission on their election and wished them fruitful work. “ I wish you all success. Your job is very important, ” Volodymyr Zelenskyy  said.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed the Law "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine on Improving the Legal Protection of Geographical Indications" №123-IX approved by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on September 20, 2019.

​President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky visited the exhibition "Arms and Security" and got acquainted with the latest developments of weapons, military and special equipment.

The Head of State together with representatives of the Council of the Federation of Jewish Communities lit lamps near the Menorah – a monument to the executed Jews on the territory of the National Historical Memorial Preserve "Babyn Yar".

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy urged President of France Emmanuel Macron to continue the search and rescue operation as regards six missing citizens of Ukraine - members of the crew of the Bourbon Rhode vessel, which sank in the Atlantic Ocean at the end of September.
