Ensuring energy security of Ukraine and Europe was one of the key issues at a meeting between President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Federal Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel on June 18 in Berlin.

During his official visit to Germany, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with President of the German Bundestag Wolfgang Schäuble.

During his official visit to France, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with President of the Senate of France Gérard Larcher on June 17. The French official emphasized the support for Ukraine's territorial integrity and sovereignty.

"I will do everything possible for you to find a place on the Ukrainian market," Volodymyr Zelenskyy assured. In particular, it refers to the invitation to the market for the large French automobile companies, a large-scale project of a power station in the Chernobyl zone, expansion of hypermarket networks, logistics and transport projects.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasizes that the establishment of peace in Ukraine is one of the key tasks he is striving for. That is why the issue of peace was the main one in his current constructive negotiations with French President Emmanuel Macron.

"Russia must also comply with the decision of the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea and return 24 Ukrainian sailors. I really believe in that. I am grateful for the firm and consistent position of France in condemning Russia's actions in the Sea of Azov and the Kerch Strait,” the Head of State said.

During his official visit to France, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited Station F startup incubator in Paris.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy congratulated the residents of Mariupol on the fifth anniversary of the liberation of the city from the illegal armed groups. "You are free, you are true Ukrainians! I am grateful to you for saving Mariupol. Mariupol is Ukraine!" Volodymyr Zelenskyy said during the events on the occasion of the anniversary.

During the working visit to Mariupol, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy examined the procedure of underwater mine clearance in the Sea of Azov.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy took part in the opening of the mine clearance center of the State Emergency Service in Mariupol. In addition to modern equipment, robots have been purchased for the Center to help people in the mine clearance to save lives. Currently, 7 thousand square kilometers are mined on the territory of Donbas controlled by Ukraine.
