President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy receives birthday greetings from world leaders.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy commissioned to present a detailed vaccination program against COVID-19 in Ukraine as soon as possible. The Head of State said this at a traditional conference call on preventing the spread of COVID-19.

"We have learned to contain and counter external threats. It is time to move to more ambitious actions and be more proactive, defending the national interests of our state," Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed.

During a working trip to Kharkiv due to the fire in a home for the elderly, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting on mechanisms to prevent such emergencies.

The state must create all conditions for the elderly who need care and support to be able to receive high-quality social services, as stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

In Kharkiv, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the home for the elderly, where a fire broke out on January 21. During the inspection of the site of the tragedy, Deputy Minister of the Interior Serhii Yarovyi reported to the President on the circumstances of the emergency situation and the course of rescuing people and extinguishing the fire.

January 23 in Ukraine will be declared a day of mourning at the national level due to the death of 15 people in a fire that broke out in the home for the elderly in the city of Kharkiv.
