Yesterday, ahead of Engineer Troops Day, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy congratulated the warriors on their professional holiday and presented them with state awards.
The Head of State thanked them for their contribution to the construction of fortifications and protective structures, as well as the installation of anti-drone nets.
“This is extensive work, hard work, and protection for all our people – not only military personnel but also civilians. Every day, you contribute to strengthening our country and our defense,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized.
The President wished the warriors good health and victory over the enemy as soon as possible.
The Head of State awarded the warriors of the Engineer Troops the Orders of Bohdan Khmelnytsky, II and III class, and the Orders “For Courage,” II and III class. Among those honored are service members who participated in the construction of fortifications, engineering obstacles, and underground command posts, facilitated the deployment of bridge crossings over bodies of water, and conducted reconnaissance of enemy infrastructure in the Donetsk, Luhansk, Sumy, and Chernihiv regions, as well as during the Kursk operation.
