I’m grateful to the President for our clear and substantive cooperation and for Türkiye’s readiness to support all promising ideas that can bring us closer to real peace and security.

We continue working with all our partners on air defense and F-16 ammunition. We’re preparing new decisions in the near future. I thank everyone who’s really helping.

We now have intel about the Russians preparing new ballistic missile attacks. We need the capabilities to shoot down all this Russian evil. We are awaiting the relevant decisions.

I want to thank you for the new package that Rob just mentioned. It is very important for us, especially at this time of massive attacks on our energy system – the new military support package for us worth €500 million, which is being prepared right now – this fall.

Today, I received a briefing from Mykhailo Drapatyi, Ihor Obolenskyi, and Pavlo Palisa on yet another active operation of ours – Operation Veles, which Khartiia is carrying out in the Kupiansk sector. A strong operation, in my view, sophisticated and technologically advanced.

I thank all Americans and all our partners who took this seriously and truly helped us. I thank members of Congress, senators, all the media, the State Department, and the President. Protecting lives matters.

We have an agreement to hold a trilateral meeting – Ukraine, the United States, and Russia – at the team level. And we hope it will happen. The plan is to meet in the first half of November. And as early as possible, of course. But we are ready to meet any day – even tomorrow. But it all depends on the Russians.

Finland is a very important partner for us, and we are grateful for your support. And we believe that together we can do what needs to be done – both for our security and our economies. 

And today, we have important talks with our American partners and with our other partners from Europe. And today, Steve Witkoff is also here with us in Oslo, and Jared Kushner joined us online, as Jonas already said. And it’s important that we keep talking at all levels and work together on the decisions needed to end this war.

Our front is strong, and I thank every warrior and every one of our units that is carrying out its tasks in full.
