First Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Sergiy Kyslytsya, met with the UK All-Party Parliamentary Group on Ukraine, led by Alex Sobel.
The meeting focused on the progress of peace negotiations to end the war, the importance of long-term security guarantees for Ukraine, and the further deepening of the strategic partnership between Ukraine and the United Kingdom, including expanding defense cooperation and strengthening sanctions pressure on the aggressor state.
Sergiy Kyslytsya thanked the UK parliamentarians for their consistent cross-party support for Ukraine and their principled stance on the need to maintain and increase assistance. Particular attention was given to coordinating efforts to ensure stable funding for Ukraine’s defense needs, enhancing military-technical cooperation, and jointly working on mechanisms to hold Russia accountable.
Participants emphasized the importance of preserving the unity of the international coalition in support of Ukraine and continuing sanctions against Russia.
Ukraine values the cross-party support of the UK Parliament and concrete decisions that strengthen our defense capabilities and bring us closer to achieving a dignified peace.
