At one of the medical rehabilitation centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with warriors who are recovering from wounds.
The Head of State was briefed on the center’s operations and areas of rehabilitation. In particular, the facility uses canine-assisted therapy – a rehabilitation and psychotherapy method involving specially trained therapy dogs.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy also visited the psychophysiological decompression rooms, physical rehabilitation area, and occupational therapy facilities, all equipped with training equipment for physical recovery.
The President spoke with the defenders, thanked them for their service, and presented them with the Orders “For Courage,” II and III class.
The Head of State also awarded the Medals “For Saved Life” to medical staff.
“I thank you for your important work, for restoring and helping our guys return to life. I am grateful to you and to everyone who created this rehabilitation center to such a high standard,” said Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
