Ukraine’s First Lady, Olena Zelenska, met with Ireland’s Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science, James Lawless, and representatives of Irish universities. During the meeting, representatives of the University College Cork and the University of Galway signed memorandums of understanding to join the Global Coalition of Ukrainian Studies.

Ukraine and Ireland have approved a partnership roadmap for at least the next five years. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this following his meeting with Taoiseach Micheál Martin.

We hope that during this period, Ukraine will already be a member of the European Union, and we are thankful to you for your support along this path.
