The Special Tribunal is being established to hold the senior military and political leadership of Russia accountable for the crime of aggression against Ukraine. The International Criminal Court does not have jurisdiction over this crime with respect to states that are not parties to it. That is why an international coalition has developed a separate mechanism.

Advisor – Commissioner of the President of Ukraine for Sanctions Policy, Vladyslav Vlasiuk, held a meeting with the First Secretary of the Embassy of the United Kingdom in Ukraine, Jack Meeson, and Political Advisor James Ford.

Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Ihor Zhovkva held a phone call with Principal Adviser – International to the Prime Minister of Australia Rod Hilton.

Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov, together with First Deputy Sergiy Kyslytsya and Deputy Iryna Vereshchuk, held a series of meetings on military and humanitarian support for Ukraine during a working visit to Lithuania.

Throughout the week, events, lectures, and historical discussions were held at the University of Barcelona, the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, Pompeu Fabra University, the University of Valencia, the University of Salamanca, the University of Valladolid, the University of the Basque Country, and the Complutense University of Madrid.

First Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Sergiy Kyslytsya, held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to Ukraine, Seymur Mardaliyev.

The Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, held a meeting with representatives of the Defense Forces and members of parliament on the involvement of foreign nationals and stateless persons in military service under contract in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard.

A meeting was held at the Office of the President to address the launch of a new project by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development aimed at supporting the next stage of anti-corruption reforms in Ukraine.

Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Ihor Zhovkva held a meeting with a delegation of the Ukrainian–Austrian interparliamentary group, led by its chair, Henrike Brandstötter.

Starting today, representatives of business and the state can submit claims to the International Register of Damage Caused by Russia’s Aggression Against Ukraine. The five new categories cover damage to or destruction of critical and non-critical infrastructure, as well as damage to, destruction of, or loss of assets.
