President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a decree awarding state honors to representatives of the Crimean Tatar people.

I signed a decree that provides you with more real opportunities to defend our entire state – all of Ukraine and our Crimea – all our people and the Indigenous people, the Crimean Tatar people – our security and your security, our right to live freely on our land.

This will contribute to the realization of the Crimean Tatar people’s right to sustainable development and to safeguarding guarantees of their ethnic, cultural, linguistic, and religious identity.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a phone call with His Holiness Pope Leo XIV at a time when the Russians once again struck Ukraine with hundreds of “shaheds” and dozens of missiles.

We are already preparing for the next winter and gradually restoring what Russian strikes destroyed this past winter. Resilience plans have been approved across the country – for every region. Implementation has already begun.

The Head of State thanked the envoys of the U.S. President for their work in finding the right decisions. Ukraine appreciates every effort America makes to forge a dignified peace.

Ukraine openly made this proposal to Russia. Russia responds with “shaheds” and continues its terrorist operations against our energy sector and infrastructure.
