Over the past four years, the list of Ukrainian cities and villages that Russia has brought war and death to has grown, and this means the need for far more determination and pressure on the Russian leader and on Russia. This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy in his address to participants of the Bucha Summit 2026. This year, 23 foreign delegations attended the event.

On the fourth anniversary of the liberation of Bucha from Russian occupiers, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and First Lady Olena Zelenska honored the memory of Ukrainians who were killed and tortured by Russian invaders in February–March 2022.

Today, the Prime Minister of Bulgaria and I signed a security agreement between our countries. In fact, our teams have been working on this for quite a long time. I am very pleased that we now have this ten-year agreement between our states.

The agreement stipulates that Bulgaria will continue to provide military assistance to Ukraine and develop defense-industrial cooperation. Bulgaria is interested in co-producing drones and ammunition under the SAFE program. Joint production facilities will be established in both Ukraine and Bulgaria, and joint training exercises will also be conducted.

The Head of State thanked the Prime Minister for the visit and noted that the agreement provides for continued military support for Ukraine. Particular attention during the meeting was given to joint defense production, including drones.

According to the declaration, the income of the Head of State and his family members amounted to UAH 15,805,828, including UAH 8,364,921 from the redemption of domestic government bonds.
