Yesterday, on the eve of the Day of the National Guard of Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with the warriors of the National Guard of Ukraine, congratulated them on the 12th anniversary of the National Guard’s formation, presented state awards, and handed unit commanders honorary distinction ribbons “For Courage and Bravery,” and ribbons bearing honorary names.

First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska took part in the second day of the Fostering the Future Together summit, hosted by U.S. First Lady Melania Trump. The events of the summit were held at the White House.

We already see that not only “shaheds” are being used in the Middle East and the Gulf region, but there is also growing evidence of the use of FPV drones. This is modern warfare, and everyone must be prepared for it. Ukraine has this expertise, and in exchange for our support, we need corresponding help in areas where we face greater challenges.

The Head of State thanked the warriors for their service, emphasizing that Ukrainians can trust the Security Service and rely on its protection and effectiveness across every domain. Over the years of this war, the Security Service of Ukraine has become a combat-proven, strong, and exemplary special service in Europe and the world.

George Washington University and Georgetown University have joined the Global Coalition of Ukrainian Studies. The signing ceremony took place in the presence of First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska at the Elliott School of International Affairs at George Washington University.

Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Ihor Zhovkva held a meeting with Estonian Undersecretary for Economic and Development Affairs Mariin Ratnik.

An interagency coordination meeting on expanding Ukraine’s presence on the African continent was held under the chairmanship of Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Kyrylo Budanov.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Andris Sprūds held detailed discussions on strengthening Ukraine’s air defense and supplying additional missiles for it.

“Ukraine has much to share here. It would be no exaggeration to say that, besides the resilience of our people, it is precisely digital systems that help us endure,” the President’s wife emphasized in her address to the summit participants.

I am grateful to every leader, every country, every parliamentarian, and civic activist in our partner countries who will not remain silent about what is happening and who will continue helping us pressure Russia for the sake of real peace.
