In Kyiv, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with Prime Minister of Finland Petteri Orpo, during which they discussed strengthening defense, economic resilience, and winter support for our country.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Prime Minister of Finland Petteri Orpo took part in the Ukraine–Finland Business Forum, during which seven documents were signed in the areas of the defense industry, unmanned systems, transport, satellite communications, and construction.

Today, we continue our cooperation with Finland – and this continuation is concrete and very substantive. We are in constant communication with our partners, with Finland. We are in contact with the President of Finland, Alex Stubb.

Finland is a very important partner for us, and we are grateful for your support. And we believe that together we can do what needs to be done – both for our security and our economies. 

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented state awards to 12 warriors of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine on the occasion of the Day of Intelligence of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, observed annually on October 20.

This year, the event was held for the tenth time, bringing together more than 45 Ukrainian and international speakers across seven discussion platforms.

In Oslo, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held meetings with Prime Minister of Norway Jonas Gahr Støre, Norwegian Minister of Defense Tore Sandvik, Eirik Lie, CEO of the Norwegian defense company Kongsberg, and its representatives, as well as President of the Storting Masud Gharahkhani and the leaders of all political parties represented in parliament.

In Oslo, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a trilateral meeting with President of Finland Alexander Stubb and Prime Minister of Norway Jonas Gahr Støre, as well as a joint meeting with U.S. President’s envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, who joined the conversation online.

And today, we have important talks with our American partners and with our other partners from Europe. And today, Steve Witkoff is also here with us in Oslo, and Jared Kushner joined us online, as Jonas already said. And it’s important that we keep talking at all levels and work together on the decisions needed to end this war.

First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska took part in the 13th thematic meeting of the Commission for Coordination of Interaction of Executive Bodies to Ensure Equal Rights and Opportunities for Women and Men.
