This March, we marked the fourth anniversary of one of our most important state institutions – the one that brings people back to Ukraine from captivity and gives all of us hope of seeing our loved ones at home. Four years of work by the Coordination Headquarters have already resulted in the return of 8,669 of our people. Military personnel and civilians.

The President thanked every Ukrainian warrior and unit that captures occupiers, thereby giving our people a chance to return; all those who conduct extremely difficult negotiations to make exchanges possible; those who meet and welcome the captives; the specialists who help those released from captivity adapt physically and psychologically; as well as those who work to restore justice, ensuring that everyone who abuses our people understands that every one of their crimes will meet a response.

We all see now that the world can be very harsh and dangerous for those who stand alone or stay aside from joint efforts to ensure real security. Today, no one knows what the future holds for Europe, or how Russia will behave in the coming years.

Ukraine is ready to become a full-fledged member of the Joint Expeditionary Force (JEF). President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated this during his online address to the participants of the JEF Leaders’ Summit in Helsinki.

Yesterday, on the eve of the Day of the National Guard of Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with the warriors of the National Guard of Ukraine, congratulated them on the 12th anniversary of the National Guard’s formation, presented state awards, and handed unit commanders honorary distinction ribbons “For Courage and Bravery,” and ribbons bearing honorary names.

First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska took part in the second day of the Fostering the Future Together summit, hosted by U.S. First Lady Melania Trump. The events of the summit were held at the White House.

We already see that not only “shaheds” are being used in the Middle East and the Gulf region, but there is also growing evidence of the use of FPV drones. This is modern warfare, and everyone must be prepared for it. Ukraine has this expertise, and in exchange for our support, we need corresponding help in areas where we face greater challenges.

The Head of State thanked the warriors for their service, emphasizing that Ukrainians can trust the Security Service and rely on its protection and effectiveness across every domain. Over the years of this war, the Security Service of Ukraine has become a combat-proven, strong, and exemplary special service in Europe and the world.

George Washington University and Georgetown University have joined the Global Coalition of Ukrainian Studies. The signing ceremony took place in the presence of First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska at the Elliott School of International Affairs at George Washington University.

Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Ihor Zhovkva held a meeting with Estonian Undersecretary for Economic and Development Affairs Mariin Ratnik.
