President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Secretary-General of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development Mathias Cormann, who is on a visit to Ukraine.

The Head of State greeted Karim Khan, for whom it wasn’t the first visit to Kyiv, and thanked for the support our state has felt from the ICC since the first day of Russia's full-scale invasion.

The members of the Staff reviewed the overall operational situation and the likely nature of the enemy's actions in the near future. They also reviewed the state of supplying the defense forces with ammunition and equipment, the progress of training of Ukrainian servicemen abroad, and the needs of the defense forces in terms of numbers and specialties.

The President noted the decision of the U.S. administration announced on February 24 to allocate USD 9.9 billion in direct budget support to our country in 2023. Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that these funds are extremely important, as they allow us to cover the unfunded part of the state budget and support the segments of the population that need it most.

The Head of State congratulated the media workers on the anniversary of the telethon and noted that United News played an important role in building public unity and trust in the context of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked the government of Saudi Arabia for its tangible support for Ukraine in the face of Russia's ongoing armed aggression: "First of all, I want to thank you for supporting peace in Ukraine, our sovereignty and territorial integrity. This is very important for us and our people, our society."

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy believes that the readiness of some partner countries to start training Ukrainian pilots is the first important step for Ukraine to receive Western fighter jets. The Head of State said this at a press conference for Ukrainian and foreign media entitled "February. The Year of Invincibility."

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy considers it important that the People's Republic of China shows interest in the issue of ending Russia's war against Ukraine, and he would like to have more specifics on the steps proposed for a peaceful settlement.

"I am sure that there will be a victory. Yes, I really want it this year. We have everything for this: motivation, confidence, friends, diplomacy, journalists. We united all our forces against this onslaught," Zelenskyy said.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy is convinced that the military and political leadership of Russia will be brought to justice for war crimes committed in Ukraine, and he hopes for the help of the Netherlands in this process.
