Ukraine has been invited to the NATO Summit to be held in Vilnius and expects NATO member states to endorse the provision of security guarantees to our country. This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a conversation with media representatives following a meeting with Prime Minister of Finland Sanna Marin in Kyiv.

During their meeting the President of Ukraine and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Finland recalled the European Union’s unwavering support for Ukraine’s independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity within its internationally recognised borders extending to its territorial waters, as well as fully supporting Ukraine’s inherent right to self-defence and to choose its own security arrangements.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed gratitude to Finland for the defense support packages provided to our country, as well as for its effective participation in the tank coalition.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Sanna Marin laid flowers at the coffin of Dmytro Kotsiubailo and expressed condolences to his family.

The event was held in a mixed format: live at the Office of the President and via video conference. Famous performers, theater and film actors, artists, journalists, producers, heads of cultural institutions and specialized government agencies joined the conversation.

"Today we thank our women who are fighting, caring, working for peace for Ukraine, for the protection of our lives, our freedom, our people," the President emphasized.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with UN Secretary-General António Guterres, who visited Ukraine for the third time since the beginning of full-scale Russian aggression.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with co-chairman of the ruling Social Democratic Party of Germany Lars Klingbeil and chairman of the SPD parliamentary group in the Bundestag Rolf Mützenich, who are on a visit to Ukraine. The meeting was also attended by Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak and his deputies Andriy Sybiha and Roman Mashovets.

The commanders of the operational and strategic groups of troops reported on the situation on the main frontline directions. The members of the Staff reviewed the situation in Bakhmut in particular detail.

"The major task of this Congress meeting is not only to sum up the key results of the work of public institutions and local authorities during the hardest year for our state – the year of the war but also to determine solutions to make our state even stronger. At all levels, from the central government structures to the management of the country's communities," the President said.
