The Head of State thanked President Trump for all their joint work to protect the lives of Ukrainians and advance peace.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Andy Burnham met with Ukrainian and British sailors at Portsmouth Naval Base, where five Ukrainian mine countermeasures vessels are also based: Melitopol, Mariupol, Henichesk, Cherkasy, and Chernihiv.

The leaders discussed the priorities for further partnership and support for Ukraine. Their primary focus was the development of joint defense production and the establishment of relevant enterprises in both Ukraine and the United Kingdom. The President and the Prime Minister agreed to work toward continuously increasing the pace of this cooperation.

On the eve of Medical Workers' Day, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with military and civilian medics, presented them with state awards, and conferred honorary titles.

The meeting focused on prospects for cooperation in protecting the skies. Volodymyr Zelenskyy welcomed Raytheon's readiness to take the partnership to an even higher level by co-producing interceptors for Patriot systems. The Head of State noted that he had a substantive discussion on this with U.S. President Donald Trump in Ankara and that work in this direction should now move forward.

In Kyiv, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Taoiseach of Ireland Micheál Martin. During the meeting, the Head of the Irish Government announced a new €125 million support package.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, together with the Ukrainian negotiating team – Rustem Umerov, Kyrylo Budanov, and Sergiy Kyslytsya – held a phone call with U.S. President's envoys, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.

They discussed the outcomes of the NATO Summit in Ankara, particularly the important decisions to strengthen Ukraine's air defense and their implementation. First and foremost, this concerns agreements on licenses to produce missiles for the Patriot systems.

For the first time, there was direct, first-hand dialogue between leading weapons and military equipment manufacturers, the corps commanders who actually use their products, representatives of the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Finance, and the country's key special services.
