In the Kharkiv region, at the command post of the Tactical Group Kupyansk, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy heard a report from the commander, spoke with the warriors, and presented them with state awards.
The commander of the Tactical Group Kupyansk, Viktor Solimchuk, reported to the Head of State on the progress of the operation to locate and destroy the remaining enemy forces in Kupyansk, ongoing counter-sabotage measures, and the organization of the city’s further defense. The Brigadier General also briefed the President on the components of the Tactical Group, their strength and equipment, the tasks assigned, and the area of responsibility of each unit.
Special attention was given to discussing the warriors' needs, ensuring stable logistics, and their experience in rapidly evacuating the wounded, including through the use of ground robotic systems (GRS).
The President also spoke with the warriors, congratulated them on their professional holiday, and awarded the Orders of Bohdan Khmelnytsky, I–III classes, “For Courage,” III class, and the Medal “For Military Service to Ukraine.”
“Thank you for your service, for defending our state and our sovereignty, for who you are, and for what you do every day. I wish you victory and peace. I also congratulate you and your families on the upcoming holidays. Above all, I wish you to take care of yourselves – this is extremely important to us. You are our strongest security guarantee – and our weapon,” said Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
