In the frontline sector of the 25th Separate Airborne Sicheslav Brigade, which is defending Pokrovsk and its outskirts, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with the warriors and received the commander's report.
Commander of the brigade Andrii Turchyn reported on the operational situation in his unit’s sector of the front, the provision of all necessary supplies to positions, logistics, and troop rotations. According to him, the brigade is among the leaders in deploying interceptor drones.
During the conversation with the squad commanders, they discussed the brigade’s experience, further development of drone capabilities, the implementation of the “18–24” contract program, the future transition to a contract-based army, staffing specifics, personnel training, and the digitalization of processes within the Armed Forces.
The Head of State thanked the warriors for defending Ukraine and for their daily service; he also presented them with state awards. The memory of the fallen defenders was honored with a moment of silence.
