President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held his first phone call with the new Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Rob Jetten.
The Head of State congratulated Rob Jetten on taking office and wished him success and decisive steps.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked the Netherlands and the Dutch people for their strong support for Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion.
The leaders discussed Ukraine’s most urgent needs: missiles for air defense systems and energy equipment. The President thanked him for the fact that Ukraine, as always, can count on the support of the Netherlands and assistance in protecting lives.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Rob Jetten also discussed negotiations to achieve a dignified peace and the importance of security guarantees.
“I value the principled support for our positions and the readiness to help in every possible way,” the Head of State noted.
The leaders agreed to meet soon and to work on projects that can strengthen both countries. The President thanked the Prime Minister for his attention to Ukraine since the very first day of his tenure.
