In Bucharest, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, had a meeting with the Prime Minister of Romania, Ilie Bolojan.
The Head of State thanked Ilie Bolojan for his support of Ukraine, in particular for his participation in the meetings of the Coalition of the Willing.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Ilie Bolojan discussed strengthening cooperation in various areas and jointly countering disinformation. Particular attention was given to partnership in the energy sector. The President noted the importance of developing energy infrastructure that will increase electricity supplies to Ukraine.
They also discussed defense support for Ukraine, including strengthening air defense. The Head of State thanked Romania for its military assistance and noted the country’s contributions to the PURL initiative.
In addition, Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Ilie Bolojan discussed expanding border crossing points between Ukraine and Romania, including work on an intergovernmental agreement on joint oversight at the border crossings.
