President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a phone call with President of Finland Alexander Stubb.
The Head of State informed him about Russia’s massive attack on Ukraine last night. The leaders discussed how Finland can help Ukraine defend against Russian ballistic missiles.
“We understand how many missiles for air defense systems are available worldwide. And they are needed in Ukraine every day – every day, we have to defend ourselves against these Russian strikes. If each of our partner countries helps us now, it will save many lives,” the President of Ukraine said.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked Alexander Stubb for his immediate response and readiness to support Ukraine.
They also discussed diplomacy – everything that can force Russia toward peace.
“When Putin can no longer kill people, he will be forced to seek a way out of this war. Only sufficient support for Ukraine and pressure on Russia can bring about peace,” the Head of State emphasized.
