President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a phone call with President of the United States Donald Trump.

“An important conversation, and we got through a lot. We agreed to meet in New York, and this meeting could change a lot. There is diplomatic momentum,” the Head of State noted.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked the U.S. President for the visit to Kyiv by the U.S. President’s envoys, Steven Witkoff and Jared Kushner, during which they went through the key details and the American guests saw the situation in Ukraine firsthand.

The President emphasized that the peace track is the number one priority. According to the Head of State, there are ideas for de-escalation steps and for addressing fundamental security issues – energy security, food security, and the protection of human life.

“We are working together with the American team and are ready to take really serious steps. I thanked the American President for signing the Lindsey Graham bill into law. We all concur – there must be peace,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted.

The President thanked everyone who is helping Ukraine.
