Together with Mykhailo Drapatyi, I determined the tasks that must be carried out in the near future and over the medium term. The operations of Ukraine's Defense Forces are ongoing and must continue without disruption. Ukraine's long-range sanctions plan and our mid-strike program will be carried out with absolute precision.

Kyiv and the region were the Russians’ primary target. They had been preparing this attack for several days, stockpiling missiles. The threat, of course, remains even now, and this must be taken into account.

First of all, I want to thank our warriors for their precision: overnight, our long-range operations delivered strong results. We continue, entirely rightly, responding to Russia for its war and for its strikes on Ukraine's infrastructure.

Today, Ukraine’s new Government, headed by Sergii Koretskyi, began its work. His strength lies specifically in his work at state-owned energy companies. He came to Ukrnafta and changed the company’s processes after oligarchic control. Thanks to Sergii, Ukrnafta began truly working for our state.

I want to thank you personally, Keir, as well as your team and all the British people. We always know that we can rely on Britain’s decisions, Britain’s leadership, and our cooperation with Britain. During these years of full-scale war, Ukraine’s relations with Britain have been the strongest in our history.

We are working to open the clusters in Ukraine's accession talks. Two clusters have already been opened: the first and the sixth – the sixth was opened yesterday. I congratulate our teams and sincerely thank them for their work. We look forward to opening all the remaining clusters.

July 15. Ukraine marks Ukrainian Statehood Day. We are proud to be the heirs of Kyivan Rus and the Cossack state, and to have a thousand years of experience in building our state. A thousand years of courage, of the desire to live in freedom, to live as a sovereign and independent nation, to follow only our own path, and to be who we are – to be Ukraine, to be Ukrainians. We are proud of what everyone has witnessed throughout the full-scale war – Ukraine’s thousand-year-old character.

It should not take weeks to move from announcing a support package for Ukraine to delivering it. And this is the responsibility of everyone in the state involved, above all, in diplomatic efforts.

This command must concentrate 100% of the available resources on degrading Russia’s warfighting potential even more. The commander in charge of this direction will be strong and certainly highly experienced.

It is about providing the strongest possible protection, first of all – protection for hundreds of millions of Europeans. And that protection is needed today, not years from now.
