President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a phone call with the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Keir Starmer.
The leaders discussed preparations for the negotiations and meetings focused on weapons for Ukraine’s defense and joint diplomacy with Europe aimed at bringing an end to the war.
“Europe definitely needs its own voice, its own position, and its own contribution to all diplomatic efforts that can help end the war,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed.
The President also thanked Keir Starmer for the recent package of sanctions that will limit Russian cryptocurrency schemes.
“It is absolutely essential that all forms of pressure on the aggressor be further strengthened. I am grateful to the United Kingdom for its support,” the Head of State added.
