Since the Beginning of the Year, the Olena Zelenska Foundation Has Delivered 110 Generators to Educational, Medical, and Social Institutions

Since the beginning of the year, the Olena Zelenska Foundation has delivered 110 generators of varying capacity to educational, medical, and social institutions across different regions of Ukraine, First Lady Olena Zelenska announced.

The total value of the equipment exceeds UAH 61 million. Sixty-two generators were delivered to schools and kindergartens in the Sumy and Kharkiv regions, as well as to educational institutions in Kyiv.

Seven generators were provided to medical facilities: three in the Sumy region, three in Kyiv, and one in the rural settlement of Sosnytsia in the Chernihiv region. This equipment ensures the autonomous operation of hospitals in the event of power outages.

Support for social institutions is another line of effort. Sixteen generators were delivered to geriatric facilities, support and rehabilitation centers.

Another ten generators are ensuring the operation of assistance and warming points, as well as educational institutions in communities of the Dnipro region.

Large foster families in the Kyiv, Cherkasy, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Dnipro regions have also received generators.

“In the context of constant enemy attacks on critical infrastructure, the issue of uninterrupted electricity supply remains critically important. For hospitals, educational and social institutions, this is not just about comfort – it is about safety, continuity of operations, and ultimately about people’s lives. That is why we are systematically strengthening energy resilience where it is most needed. I am grateful to our international partners who understand this need and support us in ensuring stability even under the most challenging conditions,” Olena Zelenska said.

The assistance is being provided in cooperation with international partners, including the Türkiye-Ukraine Business Council (DEİK), Black Sea Trade and Development Bank, Hilti Foundation, the Kellner Family Foundation, HEARTLAND A/S, Beredskapslyftet, and Svenska Kraftprodukter AB, as well as with the support of Ukraine’s embassies in Poland, Moldova, the Czech Republic, and Sweden.

In the near future, the Foundation will deliver a new batch of generators to educational and healthcare institutions.
