Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, and his Deputy, Iryna Mudra, held a meeting with the President of the European Court of Human Rights, Mattias Guyomar.

The consultations focused on concrete results and plans for the future, including the documents signed today, a significant part of which is aimed at strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities and resilience. These cover key areas of assistance: defense cooperation, energy, and support for the population.

In Kyiv, First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska met with the UN Under-Secretary-General and Special Representative for Children and Armed Conflict, Vanessa Frazier.

During the visit of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy to Berlin, ten documents were signed at various levels, consolidating agreements across multiple areas.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Federal Chancellor of Germany Friedrich Merz reached agreements during talks in Berlin on further strengthening Ukraine’s air defense, defense cooperation, support for Ukraine’s energy sector and reconstruction, as well as the development of other key areas of bilateral relations.

We have ten documents that have already been signed – ten arrangements, ten agreements of different levels. Arrangements on air defense are among the most urgent for us. This includes air defense missiles – PAC-2 missiles, of course, as well as launchers for IRIS-T systems – we are grateful for them.

In Berlin, ahead of a bilateral meeting, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Federal Chancellor of Germany Friedrich Merz were shown seven types of drones manufactured by Ukrainian enterprises, for which memoranda have already been signed on the potential establishment of joint Ukrainian‑German ventures. Six of them are aerial, and one is ground-based.
